The Witcher 3: The Family Blade

Track down a stolen sword for a very grateful warrior before his boss catches on.

The Witcher 3: The Family Blade

The quest is available from the notice board in Kaer Trolde Harbour.

Your waypoint shows you where to start the quest; the closest signpost is the Miner's Camp. Approach the camp and kill off the four bandits. Loot them and find a note; read it to find out where the sword has gone.

Travel to Fyresdale and make your way to the next search zone, where - amazing - more bandits await you. Kill, loot, read journal.

The next and thankfully last stop is the Whale Cemetery. Travel to Gedyneith for the shortest overland trek to this site. When you get there you'll find a party laid out in your honour and several winsome young ladies wi- wait, no, sorry; that's Valhalla. This place just has more bandits.

Stomb their faces and loot their bodies to find the sword and yet another journal, which you can completely ignore if you like.

Head back to Kaer Trolde; quest giver Olaf is quite near the Bridge signpost. He's deeply grateful to you.
