Spelunky DLC adds eight new characters

Spelunky’s latest content drop, the Explorers DLC, adds eight new characters for use adventure and deathmatch mode: the Eskimo, the Robot, the Viking, the Round Girl, the Round Boy, the Cyclops, the Ninja and the Golden Monk. The DLC will set you back 160 MS Points. Not familiar with the Xbox Live Arcade title? Try a free, limited browser-based version.

Come on, give us more levels (Adventure mode) or a Steam version with mod support. PLEASE!

That would be great but from what I’ve heard, MS did most of the online and some other stuff for the XBLA version so even PC/Steam is a long shot, let alone PS3
(But really, this game should be on all platforms, mainly 3DS and Vita because having a platformer roguelike on the go is a must!).

Yeah man, this game and Fez and Rez and Bastion are the main reasons I’m thinking about getting back to PC gaming… I really want to play the fuckers bad.
