Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has received a massive stack of PS3 images and a fresh new trailer today, following preview events in London.

With the PS4 coming at the end of the year, is there really that much point in this game coming out on the PS3 anymore?

Think about this. The game is scalable for next gen hardware.
Now, whats the point in porting it on PS4 first when the PS3 has a larger market share?

I agree with you guys. What’s the point in bringing it to PS3 at this time at all? I have my doubts that they will even break even when it does FINALLY release on PS3.
And I was one of the people that was actually excited to play this.
