Warframe to host open beta this weekend

Warframe is a co-operative online free-to-play third-person shooter with randomly-generated missions, sweet ninja swords and a variety of unlockable weapons, upgrade, special abilities and classes – all from the makers of the excellent The Darkness 2. You are invited to join the Tenno this weekend, from 12:00PM EST on February 15 to 9:00AM EST February 19, thanks to an open beta event. You don’t need a key, but you will need to be registered, so visit Warframe to get on that.

I actually managed to sign up for this before realizing it wasn’t WarFACE.

Then again Digital Extremes did kinda blow my mind in a budgety sort of way with The Darkness II so maybe I should stop being an asshole and play it.

I enjoy it. It’s quite fun. One of the few games that does F2P right. And it looks great too!
