on the GT review. I am watching that, and the footage used to highlight the gameplay just looks really stilted, and the level design does not seem reminiscent of Aliens claustrophobic tunnels and backdrops – it reminds me more of a half-life mod or something. :(

I will get it for the WiiU, i hope i will end up liking the game at the end, and i do also hope is like alpha protocol, bad reviews but such a good game overall, sometimes i dont trust reviews that much, i will find out for myself if they are right or not.

@104: Given how even “good” developers struggled with WiiU ports (it’s normal as the console is still “new” to them), and how bad A:CM seems to be on the technical side, I fear the WiiU might be the worst version of the lot, technically speaking (they even pushed the release date on it, probably not for polish, but rather because they might have even bigger struggles with it).

This really sucks, as all alien fans had high expectations on this. I’ll probably take it once it’s gone under 20€

Really like the game, the interaction with the enemy good, the weapons looks great, the environment in the game nice except the details not that much, still has bugs need to fix it, my score for ACM 8/10.

I’m not too surprised by this now that I see it was published by Sega.

Sega had a brief period where they were actually publishing or involved in the making of GOOD games that people wanted: Valkyria Chronicles, Hyperdimension Neptunia, Bayonetta, Vanquish. It was going slow, but they were on the path to rebuilding interest and faith in their offerings. But then they suddenly decided to do things like pass on the chance to publish Bayonetta 2, or make Valkyria Chronicles 2 into a generic mish-mash of anime styles and cliches followed by refusing to release Valkyria Chronicles 3, which appeared to get back in the right direction, outside Japan at all.

Sega’s nowhere near the level of awfulness that Squeenix, Capcom and Konami (aside from Kojima Productions) share, but that’s only because the only old IP they have that they’re taking the time to screw up is Sonic, and that whole franchise is best described as FUBAR at this point. Sega’s more or less dead as a viable video game company unless they get back on the path they decided to walk away from a few years back, since unlike the three I mentioned, the only blind fanboys they have willing to buy any awful crap they make are Sonic ones.
