Halo 4: new Waypoint trailer shows off Promethean weapons

Halo 4 has received a new trailer on Waypoint, this time showing of some of the new Promethean weaponry Master Chief will be using. VG247 recently got to use the weapons hands-on during the games first missions. Read our full preview here, and check out the trailer below.

    Damn the game just looks incredible, makes you wish they were looking like this 8 years ago! Gonna be a great game, only got a year or so to enjoy it before Nextbox.

    If 343 won’t nerf grenades, the multiplayer is going to be just as ruined as in HR.

    Yeah. They were OK in Halo 3. I believe they just need to lower their damage radius though.

    #5 – Exactly, due to AAs they increased explosion radius for Wraith, Banshee and rockets too.

    And the most cheap weapons became the most deadly ones.

    i hear you guys….i hate AA and i never use it…but they even made the grenades less powerfull than they were in the beta though. i for one love HR anyway. to me this is one of the very few almost flawless games. the overall package and the polish of that game is just awesome. cannot wait for halo4.

    Not Armor Lock, Armor Abilities.

    They should’ve placed them selectively on per playlist basis, overpowered grenades were one of the results of their poor implementation.

    This is Halo, not some shitty random tacked on multiplayer.

    oh yes sure i meant AL. the AA´s in general are great imho but i can understand where you are coming from. i for one think that even with the AA´s halo reach is a pretty well balanced game and it definitley still is a halo game. you cannot compare it to your average military shoot,kill,spawn shooter. there aren´t all of the AA´s available in every match for example. it is a thought out system. the only things you can abuse is AL and on certain maps/gametypes the banshee can be a bit overpowered…other than that, to me the game is almost perfectly balanced and a huge improvement over halo 3 – but, like i said, i can totally understand if someone prefers the halo 2,3 gameplay…

    Well, the way AAs were in HR they ruin the whole concept of map control and make the matches more random, completely the opposite of what Halo is about (nothing about it is random, ever, if you die you did something wrong at some point).

    Jetpack should be on maps like Hemorrhage and that colorful dlc one forgot how it was called (Highlands?), it shouldn’t be used to fly over the walls, especially on old style maps, like Hang Em High. It’s broken on small maps too, you have those pricks flying above like fairies, wtf??

    Camo ruins maps and is a ridiculous AA. It ruins the whole fun of getting to Camo equipment and becoming invisible.

    like i said, i totally hear you but i cannot help: i really did (still do actually) enjoy the hell out of reach…the anniversary map pack is great too.
