Halo 4 gets Ninja Assassin playlist

A new Halo matchmaking update has revealed that Halo 4 will soon receive a Ninja Assassin playlist.

Ninja Assassins is a free-for-all game mode for up to 8 players. It arms Spartans with Energy Swords and Sniper Rifles, as well as the Thruster Pack to make murdering each other extra dynamic. There's no motion tracker, either. 10 points are on offer for a kill, while assassinations net a whopping 30 points. Kills give players the chance to level up and gain extra abilities. Here's a list:

Ninja Level 1
Shields recharge at a faster rate (2x)
Assassinations performed at a faster rate (2x)

Ninja Level 2
Shields recharge at a faster rate (2x)
Shields recharge sooner than normal (after 3 seconds)
Assassinations performed at a faster rate (3x)

Ninja Level 3
Shields recharge at a faster rate (2x)
Shields recharge sooner than normal (after 2 seconds)
Assassinations performed at a faster rate (4x)
Unlimited Thruster Pack energy

Ninja Assassins will be available as the featured Halo 4 playlist through April 28.
