I like how Eurogamer basically trashed it, but still gave it a 7/10.

#6 DSB considering other great games gets 8 at best on that site, is a pretty big praise if you ask me, intentionally or unintentionally.

@7 There’s no secret formula to determining what a game is or isn’t. A great game to you, may be a shit game to me.

Ultimately the score should fit the text.

It doesn’t matter if you hate or love a game, you just have to be honest. It’s only once you start excusing yourself from having an opinion that it becomes truly worthless.

But for the sake of argument, 8 out of 10 is great. 7 out of 10 is great. And that’s why those reviews expose their writers, or at least their publications, as hacks.

#8 I do agree completly DSB, i just did tried to say that either way they made them a favor, intentionally or not, because the bar for them is a little different to other sites were 8 is the new 10,for bad or better i cannot tell, because is something that had its good points and bad, but 7 in my eyes is worth getting, but nowadays no so much, heck even developers that do not made 8 on metacritic on a game are being closed down, or that game would not make the nex iteration, scary times indeed.

They did a great job of finding a very dry week to release the game.

@10: Yeah because Darksiders II is out now, and soon Transformers and Dark Souls which I fear will knock Sleeping Dogs down. I’m hoping it can stay at top for another week though.
