Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light out today on Android, time-exclusive to Xperia

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light has launched on Android as a times exclusive for Sony’s Xperia handsets, Square’s said.

Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is out today on Android, but you’ll need an Xperia handset to play it. It’s a timed exclusive to the Sony phone, meaning you’ll have to wait unless you own an Xperia S, an Xperia ion or an Xperia PLAY.

As a celebration of the Android launch, all mobile versions of the game are 50% off until July 22: it’s already out on Blackberry and iOS.

The launch-week price is £0.99p/$1.29/1.19€. It’ll go back up to £1.99/$2.99/2.39€ from July 23.

A console style exclusive within a handset operating system that has always touted itself as being for everyone.

Think I’ll skip it if that’s the kind of game they want to play.
