God of War: Ascension collector’s edition and pre-order bonus detailed
Sony has announced a collector’s edition for God of War: Ascension, which includes a steel book case, a Kratos statue, the official, digital game soundtrack , a PS3 dynamic theme and PSN avatar pack, with double XP points for multiplayer, and a DLC pass to unlock all future DLC releases for free. Also announced were pre-order incentives for both the standard and collector’s edition, which will include the Mythological Heroes Multiplayer DLC Pack. The collector’s edition will run $79.99, while the standard edition is $59.99. Game’s out March 12.

Steel book case and Kratos statue I want. Seems cheap to be 79.99 also so that’s £59.99 over here lol (bloody prototypes mega crappy CE was more then that)

Bought the collectors edition for God of War III, and thought it was a little overpriced for what I got. But $79.99 for a steel case, a statue of kratos, the game’s soundtrack, double XP for multiplayer (which looks like a lot of fun to play, btw), a dynamic theme, and a pass that’ll get me all future dlc for the game for free, I gotta say, what a value! Soon as I get some cash, consider this pre-ordered.
