Barbarian defeats Diablo III in 12 hours and 29 minutes

A post over on NeoGAF indicated that someone has already finished Diablo 3. A player with a level 32 Barbarian called Yoshichan has sent the site his final stats, claiming to have bested the title on normal difficulty in 12 hours and 29 minutes. The player also ended up with a nice stack of gold, and some rather nice DPS stats. The game went live today after many, many years of pining by the gaming community, but not without a few hiccups such as character creation issues and time outs. Blizzard took servers and Battle.net offline for a while in order to added more servers for the traffic influx, so hopefully more people are now able to log into Sanctuary and start killing things without issue.

It is possible, but i don’t know how that guy got 32 levels in 12 hours. That was Fast :D

I’m only 14 LEVEL right now and i played 6 hours but i explore every corner. Everything. Trying to complete each event. Speaking with NPC’s for achievements. :P

So it’s not a short game then, if someone rush through and still spend 12 hours. I’m loving this game, and i bet i’m going to spend three times as long completing it the first time.
