Minecraft “profitable in an hour” on Xbox 360

Mojang’s Markus Persson has announced via Twitter that the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft became profitable within an hour of launch. The figures in the first 24-hours were “very, very good,” he said. Major Nelson added that as of post time, there were 400,000 people playing the game, which should “give you an idea at how well it is doing.”

    That price which is cheaper than the PC version. Doubly so if you buy reduced price points cards.

    Being the fastest selling XBLA title cant hurt either.
