Battlefield 3’s about to go loud on three big expansions later this year, the first of which is due for release this summer. DICE talks to Sam Clay about Close Quarters, Armored Kill and thensome for the shooter.

Close Quarters lead designer Niklas Fegraeus and Battlefield 3 producer/temporary DICE CEO Patrick Bach talk in detail about the first expansion Close Quarters, which aims to give a CQC feel.

There’s also a tiny bit teased in there on the second, vehicle-based expansion Armored Kill. After that comes End Game, little of which is known of besides a winter release.

Beyond those, is that it for Battlefield 3? Doesn’t sound like it, but Bach’s very coy about it at the end of the video. Get the chat above.

Close Quarters launches in June on PS3 first, and is followed a week later on 360 and PC.
