Disney’s gone live with the first trailer for Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two following its announcement earlier this week. The video goes heavy on gameplay and features co-op action between Mickey and Oswald. Get the video below. Its confirmed the PS3 version will feature Move support and released the first screens of it in action. Those are also below the break.

It’s out this fall for Wii, PS3 and 360.

I love everything about this game except the graphical feel of it. I screams high-rezed Wii game.

The original did look acceptable by Wii standards but this one is coming for PS3 and 360 as well. They could have done a bit more than high poly Mickey & Oswald models along with HD resolutions.
When yesterday Warren Specter said their game is now in “glorious high resolution” and “coming to next-gen” consoles during Associated Press vid, I was hoping for much more. Also not to Specter, 360 and PS3 are NOT next-gen system. They are current gen systems.

EDIT: To be fair though, if the camera is fixed, the game has free co-op with Oswald and has classic musicals, it’s an automatic purchase. I just hope they do something about technical aspects of presentation because this awesome idea and its superb concept arts deserve a much better treatment.

@1 Yeah, by claiming “next-gen” on this title, they almost have to fulfill this standard of just having the graphics a tad bit higher quality than what’s currently out now. But how can we truly know next-gen until it’s out is the question lol.

@ I’m not saying it should look better than PS3 and 360 titles. My problem is that it looks like a Wii game with higher resolution. It looks bad even for current gen system.

The HD version looks like the HD version of PS2 collections and not like a game made for PS3 and 360, let alone “next-gen”.
