Xbox.com: Assassin’s Creed III to feature four-player co-op

Assassin’s Creed III will feature four-player co-op, according to a listing on Xbox.com. If so, co-op would be a first for the series. Ubisoft’s yet to confirm the game’s full multiplayer suite other than online play, which debuted in Ezio spin-off Brotherhood, would return.

AC3 launches on October 31 for PS3, 360 and PC, with a WIi U version also in development. Watch the debut trailer for it here. Thanks, AGB.

WOW. We all knew this is where they would go with the multiplayer. To be honest co-op is the only multiplayer im really interested in. Fantastic. Hopefully this will be some nice story based missions that run parallel to the main story. Best co-op i ever played was Splinter Cell Conviction’s, hope they do something similar.

Target to be killed in a courtyard – one goes for the target, one covers the rooftops, two cover the exits and fight off the guards…

Anything like that and this would be too epic for it’s own good.

but it depends if it is in the singleplayer.

If it’s just side missions than sorry, but no.

If it’s anything, ANYTHING, like that… it would just be too great.

I mean, the AC MP is pretty good. It’s not great and not my favourite MP but it is somewhat refreshing. I found it a little unbalanced in AC:R but that might just be because I was crap at it…
