Sony’s confirmed a download version of LA Noire will release this week. The Team Bondi investigative thriller, which launched in May this year at retail from Rockstar, will release as part of the PS Store’s content drop in the US tomorrow and in Europe on Wednesday.

I have been meaning to try this game out, but I am sure this is going to be a huge file. I mean, I have a 320 HDD on my PS3, but I’m trying to avoid files that are over 15g. This was three discs on 360, right?

@2: Don’t waste your money on this game. It’s simply not worth it.

Should be at the very least 10% off the RRP by standard for downloadable games & should be released the very day it’s available in store… This generation of consoles is lagging behind other entertainment devices in the online area.

@All, don’t listen to comment #3. It’s simply not true.

I’d go with YoungZero on that one.

If you can stand to be bored for about 1½ discs, by all means jump in. Otherwise you’re probably better off buying a dedicated open world game, along with the Police Quest Anthology.

The most enjoyment I got out of L.A. Noire was getting things wrong on purpose and making Cole bellow at innocents like a nutter.

Poor woman sitting simpering and obviously (within the context of the game) telling the truth, choose “Lie” and sit back and cackle.
