NCSoft confirms gamescom press briefing for August 17
NCSoft’s just confirmed it’ll hold a press briefing at gamescom on August 17.
The conference will take place during the show’s media day inside the Koelnmesse. It’ll kick off at 9.15am and end at 10.00am.
What’s more, a “world exclusive” announcement has been promised for the event. This backs up what NCSoft European sales boss Sarah Rogers told VG247 back in May, saying the company would have a “major presence” in Cologne.
We have no clue what it’s about, but considering the recent blowout from Hamburg a couple of weeks back, you’re about to hear a date for Guild Wars 2.
Germany: we are pumped.

Ur, bro, I think you meant to rant about Guild Wars 2 being “shitty sub hd”, and Lineage 3 having “Quake 3 textures”.
If you don’t keep up your persona, people might start thinking you actually don’t hate the games industry, and we can’t have that!

Been playing the first games for over 5 years now, still am, and they’ve given me some of the best gaming experiences and memories ever. I’d have bought GW2 without knowing a single thing about it. All this info coming out has only made the deal that much sweeter, because it looks absolutely amazing.
