FF Type-0 80 percent finished, most likely delayed until fall

Development on Final Fantasy Type-0 has hit 80 percent, according to this week's Famitsu, but has all but confirmed a delay to autumn in Japan.

The delay stuff was met with an apology in an interview with director Hajime Tabata and character designer/Versus XIII boss Tetsuya Nomura. It was previously due this summer in the country.

Tabata said in the interview that the downtime of PSN is the main reason for the likely delay.

This week's issue of the magazine has said that it'll contain up to 30 to 40 hours of gameplay. Or if you want to go for it fully, it'll be at 100 hours.

A download version for the game is also being looked at, there'll be Square Enix Members connectivity in the same vein to The 3rd Birthday's release and, at one point during the making of the game, there was 40 main characters in the game. Now there's just 14.

The game will launch on PSP.

Thanks, Andriasang.
