Ubisoft lists 29 tracks to be made available for Rocksmith

Ubisoft has published the list of tracks which will be available for play in Rocksmith, it’s real-guitar playing title.

Users will be able to not only rock out in real life to the following tracks, but plug an electric guitar up to their consoles:

  • Best Coast – When I’m With You

  • Cream – Sunshine Of Your Love
  • David Bowie – Rebel Rebel
  • Interpol – Slow Hands
  • Jenny O – Well OK Honey
  • Lynyrd Skynyrd – Sweet Home Alabama
  • Nirvana – Breed
  • Nirvana – In Bloom
  • Pixies – Where Is My Mind?
  • Radiohead – High and Dry
  • Red Fang – Number Thirteen
  • Silversun Pickups – Panic Switch
  • Soundgarden – Outshined
  • Spoon – Me and The Bean
  • Stone Temple Pilots – Vasoline
  • Taddy Porter – Mean Bitch
  • The Animals – House of the Rising Sun
  • The Black Keys – I Got Mine
  • The Black Keys – Next Girl
  • The Boxer Rebellion – Step Out Of The Car
  • The Cribs – We Share The Same Skies
  • The Cure – Boys Don’t Cry
  • The Rolling Stones – (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction
  • The Rolling Stones – The Spider and the Fly
  • The White Stripes – Icky Thump
  • Titus Andronicus – A More Perfect Union
  • White Denim – Burnished
  • Yellow Moon Band – Chimney

Rocksmith is out in the fall on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 and will on the show floor at E3.

    Man I love Bowie. They’ve chosen some pretty good tunes there actually although that is a rather slim selection.

    Not so bad i would say. But i really dont think ubisoft will support this game like hmx did with rockband. I dont see ubi releasing dlc every week for a game. Its not that kind of company.

    Now why wouldn’t they just round that up to 30….

    No Beatles “Day Tripper”?
    No Zeppelin “Heartbreaker”?
    No Metallica “Nothing Else Matters”?
    No Dylan “Knockin On Heavin’s Door”?
    These are all CLASSIC learning guitar songs.

    The Animals “House of the Rising Sun”. Awesome.
