Battlefield Play4Free officially launches with new trailer

Battlefield Play4Free, the next game in Electronic Arts' move into the free-to-play space, has now launched into open beta.

EA celebrated the occasion with a new launch trailer showing off plenty of in-game action. That means lots of flying, shooting, and even some exploding.

Battlefield Play4Free was first announced in 2010 and is the follow up to the still-popular Battlefield Heroes.

Last week Ben Cousins, who lead the EA Easy free-to-play group for the past four years, announced he was departing the company.
