EG giving away Battlefield Play4Free beta codes

Eurogamer’s giving away over 30,000 beta codes for Battlefield Play4Free. Most of them are probably gone by now, but there’s still a good chance you can grab one before it’s all over. Get it here.

For those of you who can’t get a code, BFP4F will begin opening up on March 31 for those who have an EA ID and have played BFBC2 or Battlefield 1943. It’ll go properly open on April 4.

I’m already on the beta. Not sure I’m going to persist with it. The thing about Battlefield is it’s great with friends, but shite with randoms, and nobody I know plays, so maybe I’ll stick with Bad Company 2 where I know my gun unlocks are permanent and I don’t have to spend any cash to temporarily unlock a gun I might not even like.

Also, dislike how they throw xp at you for every tiny little achievement. Xp not just for kills, but for every bullet you put into a target.
