Prey 2 slated to grace cover of next Joystick magazine

French gaming magazine Joystick has the sequel to Prey on its next cover. Yes, that would be Prey 2.

Right now, nothing else is known, but you can see the cover over on EvilAvatar. French site NoFrag posted it earlier, but the link now gives you a lovely “file not found” notice.

3D Realms’ Scott Miller confirmed the sequel to Prey back in 2008, with his management company Radar Group, 2K and Human Head Studios behind it.

It was pegged for a PC and Xbox 360 release upon announcement, but rights to the franchise have since been purchased by Zenimax, meaning it will likely be published by Bethesda.

Expect more on this soon, we reckon.

Thanks, Blue.

The first one was superb, probably the best intro to a game I’ve ever played. Don’t Fear The Reaper was an inspired choice of music.

Hope Bethesda doesn’t eff it up. Original wasn’t flawless but it had many great ideas and a couple of crazy levels playing with gravity and portal stuff.

Yes the first one was great, with an insane take on gravity and the dying asppect of the game, kudos, just one question though, this is the same developer as the first one?, i can recall seeing the 2K logo on the cover Box, But it was the same dev?
