Fight Night: Champion tutorials explain analog offense and defense
EA Sports wants you to get better at Fight Night: Champion, so it’s sent out a double feature of tutorials explaining that you need to hit the other guy, and avoid being hit yourself. Ohhh.
The offensive and defensive trailers are narrated by gameplay producer Brian Hayes, who explains the game’s analog controls.
Armed with this new intel, you can try your hand at the recent demo.
See both trailers below. Fight Night Champions releases in early March of PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Thanks, Joystiq.

The animations on those swings look seriously stiff.
I would really love a comeback from the Fight Night series, Round 3 is the best boxing game I’ve played, but after Round 4 my expectations pretty much couldn’t be lower. Sadly.

Have you tried the demo yet? I’ve been kind of putting it off, hoping someone will tell me it’s awesome first.

I thought the demo was awesome and the game is now on my buy list. Can’t wait to see that story mode stuff.

Nah I haven’t, for the same reason Brenna.
I had the good luck of playing Round 4 at a friend’s, so I didn’t waste my money on that one.
Fingers crossed, though.
