Beenox named lead developer on future Spider-Man titles

Activision has announced that its has named its Beenox studio the primary developer on all upcoming Spider-Man game’s from the publisher.
Beenox’s most recent web-slinging game, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, was one of the most highly rated Spider-Man titles to date, with a Metacritic rating ranging from 76 to 75 depending on the platform.
The game also received an award at the VGAs in December for Best Performance by a Human Male. The winner being, of course, the show’s host and voice of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Neil Patrick Harris.
“Beenox’s creative vision reinvigorated the Spider-Man gaming experience among critics and fans in Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions,” said SVP Patrick Kelly. “We can’t wait to see where this talented studio will take this franchise in the future.”
“We are thrilled with this opportunity to continue our close, collaborative relationship with Activision, Marvel and everyone’s friendly, neighborhood hero, Spider-Man,” said Beenox studio head Dee Brown. “Being able to map out Spider-Man’s interactive future gives us the creative freedom to really craft the best gaming experience for the fans.”
No word yet on where the next game in the Spider-Man franchise will head, but congratulations to Beenox for a job well done.

Nah, it was good. I enjoyed the story far more than the others but i enjoyed Web of Shadows gameplay more.
Beenox needs to work harder at making the combo system a bit more entertaining and thats about it.

Spiderman game was a cool game
Spiderman 2 movie was so much better. Better than all previously releases Spidy games.
Spiderman 3…people said it was sh*, I never touched it
Spiderman Ultimate, didn’t try it
Spiderman Webs of Shadow. I decided to rent this after 3/4 years it was released. And men the presentation was a piece of sh*! It felt like it had something cool going with it’s awesome combat but presentation was full of bugs and bad, adding with bad voice acting.
Spiderman Shattered Dimensions: Best of the Best! Best overall! Awesome voice acting, funny dialogues and quips, great combat and animation. It triumphs over all Spidy games.
