So is GT nearer to forza or PGR4?
I played PGR4 for a bit and quite enjoyed it.
Not a big racer fan for the most part but I am a bit intrigued with GT5.

GT5 is nearer to Forza but even harder. Its a very difficult sim. But its also a complete package. If you liked PGR4 im positive you will Like the Kart racing in GT5

Trust me Guapo if I was employee by SONY COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT I would never call it work. Gaming is a hobby I love very much because its my favorite medium. I hate TV, can’t stand MOVIES (Last Airbender what a shame :( ), and the music sucks these days.

But honestly how am I promoting SONY? I just rather see PD focus on next gen GT seeing as they have maxed their potential with GT5 on PS3 and not waste time trying to cash in on another GT this gen. It makes since to produce only two GTs during a gen, a prologue and a complete edition.

Prologue gives us a nice taste of what the new hardware is capable of and the complete edition gives us the maxed experience we all crave from Kaz’s perfectionist nature. Thats not promoting Guapo thats smart thinking. It helps SONY fund Kaz’s complete edition and makes gamers happy while they wait for GT6.

So like I mentioned before. GT6 prologue for PS4′s first holiday season and GT6 3-4 years later during the middle of PS4′s life cycle to stretch for that 10 year life goal SONY is famous for. Its genius when you really think about it. I don’t want to be playing GT18 on PS6 :D

Hey Reask whats up man. I’m glad to see you back posting again and you bring up a good question about PGR4. I know its off topic but I just bought the chat pad-headset-PGR4-1year LIVE sub card bundle. I got it for $70 which basically made having another year of LIVE FREE :D I was wondering can I still use that code for LIVE, will M$ still honor those cards that came in those packages? Sorry for going off topic. Lets play some PGR4 together some time Reask.

Edit: heres a pic of the package

Back on topic: BUY GT5 Reask. I’ll gift you a really fast car so you can own the CPU :D ….P.S. Thanks Cort for gifting me that car.

@152 Fuck, I loved PGR4. And 3 for that matter. IMO, Xbox’s best racer. So much fun. I guess because its contrasts with GT so much, and GT was the only proper racing ‘sim’ I really needed, Forza didn’t get a look in with me. Just didn’t like it. But PGR and GT are top games. Best of both worlds.

PGR was supreme until Grid came along in my opinion. A simulator is always going to be restricted by reality, in Grid and PGR, they seem to have put the effort into making it fun and exciting as well.

Not to say that simulators aren’t great in their own right, they’re just very rigid as games.

Not a big racer gamer but I will most likely pick GT5 up TEA.
I only rented PGR4 at the time but I might pick up a second hand copy as I imagine it to be pretty cheap now.
Good deal that BTW.
