Fallout: New Vegas PC patch now live

new vegas logo

Bethesda’s hoping to wash the bitter taste of bugs from gamer’s mouths, having rolled out the first of what is likely to be many fixes to the PC version of Fallout: New Vegas.

PS3 and Xbox 360 players haven’t been forgotten; Bethesda has stated the team will be rolling out a console patch “as soon as possible.”

The PC update however is available now, and will download automatically once you start up the game. 1UP.com reports it will fix “quest and scripting issues”. And, hopefully, spinning head problems, as seen below.

Pre-loaded this title on Steam last night.
Booted up steam this morning and this update was automatically downloaded.
This shouldn’t be necessary of course but I’m glad there’s a faint hope that some more bugs are squashed before first play.

Oh, the irony.

When i tried to skip the video forward Youtube said: “An error occurred, please try again later.”

Anyway, this patch is pretty much needed, since i had quite a few scripting issues.
