Final Fantasy XIV open beta ends September 19

Square Enix has announced the open beta for Final Fantasy XIV will end on September 19, three days before the headstart included with the collector’s edition.
According to Massively, patches are still being rolled out, indicating fixes will be implemented straight into launch, which is not unusual for an MMO.
If you’ve yet to get your Final Fantasy XIV testing on, at least you have another week to do so.
Final Fantasy XIV goes live September 22 on PC, with the PS3 version delayed into march 2011.

Ongoing patching is one thing, but the game has been patched very nearly every single day since the open beta stumbled out of the gate. Not surprising, though… the thing is a mess.
