Vanquish dated for October 21 in Japan, EU date coming "shortly"

OTT Platinum third-person actioner Vanquish will release on October 21 in Japan, according to Famitsu's latest issue.

The date applies to both PS3 and 360 versions of the shooter, which has been handled by Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami.

It's looking to be proper epic, going by what was seen at E3 and this gameplay clip released over the weekend.

No western date has been announced yet other than just "winter," but Sega's told VG247 that a date for the UK and Europe is on the way.

"I can't comment," a rep from the company told us when asked on a western date, "but should be able to let you know shortly."
