Cage “not sure” if Wii Fit crowd would play Heavy Rain

Quantic Dream boss David Cage has said to IG that he isn’t sure if anyone from the Wii Fit massive will come and play Heavy Rain on PS3.
Cage, writer on the game, said: “Many new gamers came in to play Wii Fit. Are they going to jump from Wii Fit to Heavy Rain?
“I’m not sure, but at the same time, many people who hesitated to buy a PS3 now own one because it’s a Blu-ray player… so maybe they’d want something like Heavy Rain because it’s really close to that movie experience.”
Quantic Dream has enjoyed a fair bit of success with Heavy Rain recently, topping the UK charts at release, with it remaining strong in the top ten since: coming in at four this week.

Title doesn’t really reflect what he says there.
Both Wii Fit & Heavy Rain are designed to target non-gamers although in very different ways.

Why not?
Depends mostly on the kind of advertising you do for Heavy Rain and where you place it.

It’s like saying “hey gazzilion casual PS2 owners, why don’t you buy this game I made for gizmondo? it’s a non-game too ;(“.
Desperate.

I dont think there is a ‘Wii Fit crowd’ seeing as most of the people who bought it apparently used it once then put it away forever.
