High Voltage hints at The Conduit 2 during GDC

theconduita2

The Conduit 2 could be on the way from High Voltage, if hints from GDC come to pass.

G4 reported that the developer, who were showing off its new games in Tournament of Legends and The Grinder, had a poster in the demo room showing a massive number 2 with Conduit-like font.

When asked about it, all the studio would say was: “There’s more to come on that!”. No pictures were allowed of it though, so you’ll just have to trust G4.

The Conduit released last summer for Wii from Sega, but didn’t do too well in terms of sales: the game sold only 150k in its first week.

High Voltage staff: “sorry you can’t take a picture of a piece of paper with a number two on it”

Maybe it’s just a clipping from a sales chart

Can’t wait…. : /

To be fair, it was fun enough to play, but without the novelty value of being an exclusive FPS on Wii, it was the epitome of average. If they do release a sequel, they should get fresh artistic talent to steer the look of the game. It was painfully generic.

Or maybe make it for PS360? Face/palm. Although it would have stiff competition in the form of halos and killzones. No point

I’ll be amazed if there isn’t a Move version of it this time around.
