Dead Space 2 in development for handhelds

Slipped away in the release for its Q3 FY10 financials, EA confirmed it’s making Dead Space 2 for handhelds as well as PS3 and 360.
The company didn’t confirm in the following conference call if it was for PSP, Nintendo DS or both, but the release just had it down for consoles and handhelds.
EA isn’t planning a PC version for the game.
The Visceral horror got pinned for a Q4 FY2011 release last night, which means a release between January-March 2011.
Catch-up on everything from EA’s Q3 FY11 financials here.

If it’s coming for DS and PSP you can probably bet there’s a version with grotty touch screen controls and lots of bugs waiting to pounce on the App store in time for Christmas…
