Cereberus Network isn't only way to get Mass Effect 2 DLC, says Zeschuk

BioWare co-founder Greg Zeschuk has told Joystiq that the recently revealed Cerberus Network won't be the only way to get DLC in Mass Effect 2.

He also confirmed that premium DLC will be coming for the RPG "down the road," stating that two kinds of DLC will be available for the game: free stuff will be done in Cerberus and bought DLC for the network and Xbox Live Marketplace.

"It's not going to be all free DLC for Mass Effect 2 -- far from that. There'll be paid DLC packs, and there'll be stuff available through Cerberus as well."

The Cerberus Network was revealed earlier this week, with BioWare also announcing that two free DLC packs will be coming: one at launch, and another soon after.

Mass Effect 2 releases on Tuesday in the US, and next Friday for 360 and PC in the UK.

The RPG's opening eight minutes got out earlier this morning.
