Gearbox hiring for “super secret project”
Want to work at Gearbox? Sure you do. Creative director Mike Neumann’s got something interesting for you, should you make the cut.
“Gearbox is hiring for all kinds of stuff, including a super secret project that I’m working on!” he tweeted laast night.
Borderlands 2? It probably is. Apply and find out.

I was going to say Halo 4 too. Borderlands 2 might not be announced yet, but it would not be SUPER secret, now would it? Just plain old “secret”, “unannounced”, or “unconfirmed”. Halo 4 however, would fit nicely into the “super secret” category, and where there’s smoke…

WHy would Gearbox be making Halo 4 when Microsoft just opened a studio with some of the orginal crew and they have Reach coming out next year.

The Gearbox/Halo rumour has been floating around for years now. I think there likely was some sort of deal on the table at some point, but yeah, I would be surprised if it went to Gearbox over MS’s new Halo focussed studio.
