Official Forza 3 car list reveals over 400 different cars

Very impressive, yet even half short of the GT PSP lot.

And possibly a lot less then GT5 (roughly a thousand for that, innit?)

Yeah, it’s ~850 in GT-PSP, ~950 in GT5.

What’s shameful is that there are only 7 Skylines in Forza 3 vs 46 in GT PSP and 50+ in GT5.

Of course, to make up for that Forza 3 has 28 Ferraris vs the 2 in GT-PSP, 29 Porsches vs the 0 in GT-PSP and 8 Lamborghinis vs the 2 in GT-PSP.

I guess it comes down to what sort of cars you like really.

That is a fine selection of cars though.
I would like to see a few more Morgans in racing games.

Wow I just realized Sony did M$ a favor. If they had released GT5 along side of Forza3 GT5 would have killed that series. I really think M$ should be kissing Sony’s ass right now seeing as their 1st party devs are little to none as it is.

No i didnt, mainly because i dont give a shit about cars or racing.

Heard good preliminary hype things about it, but no one actually played it yet, and Jeff on the Bombcast was a bit gaspy on the embargoed subject.

I do not think he’s a ‘car drivey person’ though.

you know what I have to make an apology. I just played the Forza 3 demo again and have suddenly feel back in love with this game. 400 cars ain’t that bad and the customization seems to be pretty deep.

So I want to apologize for all the rude and fanboyish comments I said about the game before. I shouldn’t have judged it so harshly just because GT5 has….well everything better. I will be picking it up though when it releases. So to all racing fans I hope you buy this too and enjoy.

Frankly GT5 could have 1 billion cars and it still wouldn’t be a good game, let alone a contender to Forza.

GT is a series lost in time. It has an outdated handling model, the worst driver AI of ANY racing series, there’s no sense of speed when driving, and oh yes: It’s bumpercars!

The latest GT5 demo was absolutely hilarious to watch. Cars bouncing off walls at 100+mph and continuing on as if nothing happened, AI drivers in a nice neat line all piling into the same crash and an in-car view that was about as exciting as ‘Grannys electric wheelchair simulator’.

Still, it has a lot more duplicates of the same cars that Forza has.
