BlizzCon 09: Diablo III “not ruled out for consoles”
Paul Sams of Blizzard has told Geoff Keighley that the firm has not ruled out Diablo III for consoles.
Currently, Blizzard is in talks with first-parties now.
This according to Keighly’s latest tweet.
Diablo III on 360 and PS3? Color us excited at the possibility.
Nathan is at BlizzCon now. We’ll see if he can bend someone’s arm for more information.

That would be awesome, and I think it could work. At least as comparison I think Sacred 2 works great on the console

They are only giving false hopes you console fans. Blizzard won’t release a console game this gen. But the nex 2 years all the GoTY’s will go to PC exclusive games. First SC2 in 2010 and then Diablo 3 in 2011. Yes, the PC gaming is dying

I’m not sure either are going to become GOTY because the press ignores so much PC gaming.
I dont’t think Starcraft II will be game of the year because it’s great, but fells like we’re back in 1998. (The gameplay has evolved, the missions are better, but except for the adventure stuff between the missions, the overall design is the same as the first Starcraft mixed with Wing Commander.)
Diablo III is definitly going to be the best game of 2011, except if Rage isn’t released in 2010, but I’m not sure it’s going to become game of the year because the press will probably ignore it just because it’s on the PC.
Rage has more the potential to become GOTY when it will be released.
