FIFA 10 delayed a few weeks in North America

EA Sports has announced that FIFA 10 will be delayed by a few weeks in October.
Originally set for an October 2 release, the sports title has been moved to October 20.
The North American cover art also features Cuauhtemoc Blanco and Sacha Kljestan instead of Wayne Rooney and Theo Walcott who grace the European versions.
Gamespot was quick to point out that the new release date very close to Pro Evo 2010 which releases in North America on October 23.
More through the link. Thanks Kotaku.

Walcott? Relative nobody in football. Strange choice.

He’s probably cheap.

All the major countries have their own footballers on the cover now, any UK FIFA buyer knows who Rooney, Lampard and Theo “I got a hat trick against Croatia” Walcott are.
France’s cover has Benzema, Hoarau and Mandanda.

It says it has the two players with weird names instead of Rooney and Walcott, but does that mean Lampard is still on the US version, since it doesn’t mention anyone replacing him.
Not that it really matters, mind.

Lampard isn’t on the US verison.
By the way, its worth noting to point out that there were screens released last night which will hopefully be published later today.

Strangely enough, Fat Frank is front and centre on the US cover.

Seriously?
I seen it this morning and I never seen him, just who I thought was an American in a blue top or something.
My excuse is that I was half asleep.
