Battlefield 1943: Coral Sea opens up on Xbox Live

Tuesday, 14th July 2009 23:17 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Looks like Xbox Live players were the first to open the Coral Sea Map Pack for Battlefield 1943 by reaching 43 million kills.

The Air Superiority game mode was also unlocked.

So far, PS3 users have clocked in at 22,868,004 kills.

Looks like it didn’t take as long as we thought it would, folks. Grats.

gotta play all day, everyday to get your $50 worth i guess. PSN users have no pressure, and besides most people on my list got the easy 100 % trophies and stop playing.

Speaking of trophies, they should really add more when this new map comes out. A trophy for killing ONE enemy with melee attack? Really? I just think trophies should be earned, not practically given.

Perhaps something to extend the life a little for the veterans?

or maybe there are just more people playing on LIVE?

Do you really only play games just to get trophies and then move on to the next?

With so many PS3 owners buying the machine purely to play Bluray movies, this is not surprising.

Gadzooks, try console demographics and install base. Nobody wants Blu-ray, remember?
