Capcom: Wii’s Resi Evil fans will be “very happy very soon”

Capcom hs told Joystiq that Wii-owning Resident Evil lovers smarting at RE5 not releasing for their machine should rest easy.
“It was made for the Xbox 360 and PS3,” said Capcom’s Matt Dahlgren of Resident Evil 5, speaking at a press event in Toronto.
“That being said, Nintendo Wii fans will be very happy very soon.”
Dahlgren wouldn’t be drawn on specifics.
RE5 launches next week in the west.

Hmm, I dunno why but I think the US will be getting the Wii version of the REmake Japan already has. Maybe that will be the announcement, so don’t get your hopes up just yet guys!

Anyone keen for a Code Veronica Wii-make? http://kotaku.com/5165889/wii-to-get-resident-evil-code-veronica-update
I hope that they rework the game so that it plays the best possible way on Wii, if they will be doing this – and if they are, I’ll just get it right away!
Hopefully, they will make additional content, specific to the Wii version – perhaps also tie it in stronger to the franchise timeline?
Keep an eye out on March 12th, says Capcom marketing man Matt Dahlgren!

I wish they’d do more proper remakes. RE1 remake is definitive, they never need to touch that again. I wish they’d do the same with RE2.

He’s right, I am a Wii RE4 fan, and I will be very happy soon, when my copy of RE5 for the ’60 arrives!

Someone was saying that Resi 6 will be a Wii exclusive. Could this be proof of that?
