Not content with the first showing of Uncharted 2, God of War III, Brutal Legend and some new Gears of War 2 stuff, the 2008 Video Game Awards, airing on Spike TV, will also be premiering the first footage of Rockstar’s GTA IV downloadable content, Lost and Damned.

The footage will be shown sometime from 9pm PST (5am BST, 6am CET) on December 14, and, of course we’ll be there with our special early morning news hats on, making sure you don’t miss anything.

Full release after the break.

I wonder if Konami will announce the new MGS thing at the VGAs? It’s got everything else. Although the MGS teaser was on Konami Japan’s site, not a US one, so they might hold back until the next big event in Japan, whenever that is.

Damn, quite a few people are gonna be glued to the screen when that show goes down.

Anyone know if it can be seen live online? Or are we Spike-less people doomed to read live blogs in stead? :(

Peopel ahve been so down on it, I think it can only excel becuase of it.

If there’s a new car, I am jealous I can’t get it instantly.

But… Ucnharted 2 and God of War III make up for that. Certainly Uncharted 2.
