Heavy Rain – Entire E3 demo filmed off-screen
We’re having trouble getting this to load faster than snail pace, but after the break you’ll find what appears to be the entire E3 Heavy Rain demo, filmed off-screen by Gamekyo at the Micromania Games Show 2008 in Paris.
From the small section we’ve watched, this seems to be the same demo we saw at Games Convention in August, with the game’s journalist protagonist searching the house of a taxidermist pinned as a suspect in a sequence of disappearances.
Quantic Dream boss David Cage is doing the presenting, and it’s all in French, what with the demo being in France and all.
Game’s out next year, PS3-exclusive. Off you go.

Takes a lot, but I am already loving this concept, so I hope it’ll turn out just as great as it can…

Well there’s a less QTE involved than I expected, still think this looks like a load of shit.

Christ… easy tiger. I think it looks lovely graphically, but I’ll need to play it to see what I think of the gameplay.
I’m a fan of their previous games though.

Wow, the graphics on this game are absolutely stunning. Probably the best i have seen for any game ever. This is a must buy for me. Cannot wait!

Why should I be an easy tiger?
The hyperbole surrounding this pre cooked lighting pisses me off. Sure the character models are great very high poly, but the texture work, and outside environemnt leaves a lot to be desired.
Why should I follow the hyperbole?
And David Cage is an ass… I supposed I have an opinion based on that. But he is.

I just think it’s a little too early to be saying it looks like a load of shit. Right now all we really have are the graphics to go by… and they’re obviously not shit.

I think nearer release they will balance things out. I love the developers past games so I’m hoping this is just as good.

seems a bit harsh this early on in development
