GCA 2011 nominations favour Uncharted, BioShock Infinite
The 2011 Game Critics Awards nominations are in, with BioShock Infinite and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception each appearing in four categories.
Technically, the Uncharted franchise is winning the day so far, as Golden Abyss, the Vita version, also snuck in.
A strong line-up of big-hitters followed close on its heels, with Battlefield 3, Tomb Raider, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Batman: Arkham City, Star Wars: The Old Republic, From Dust and Sound Shapes each managing three nominations each.
On the publisher side Electronic Arts and Sony both managed 14 nominations, with Microsoft taking runner up with 11.
Of the nominations, 55 concerned Xbox 360 games, 48 PlayStation 3 and 42 PC.
The Game Critics Awards are an annual event following each E3, voted on by major games press outlets across the US.
