Final Fantasy 14: Shadowbringers expansion includes Nier: Automata crossover raid

The next expansion to Final Fantasy 14, Shadowbringers, will include a Nier: Automata crossover raid.

Nier: Automata’s game director Yoko Taro, and executive producer Yosuke Saito announced the Shadowbringers crossover raid during the Final Fantasy 14 fan-festival in Paris this weekend.

In the pre-recorded message, it was revealed to be 24-player Alliance raid dubbed YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse (thanks, RPS).

Alongside the raid based on the Nier universe, Shadowbringers will include new beasts, a level cap increase to 80, the Viera playable race, nine new dungeons, additional trials, eight-player raids, the new Trust system, Gunbreaker job class, and a New Game+ option

Pre-orders for Shadowbringers kick off next week on February 6, and a nice Collector's Edition will also be made available.

Final Fantasy 14: Shadowbringers releases July 2 for Mac, PC, and PlayStation 4.
