Darkstalkers' Jedah confirmed for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite - here's our first look
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was not part of the main EVO 2017 competition, but Capcom made sure to host a short exhibition match to show off a new character.
The match featured Capcom's Peter 'ComboFiend' Rosas, and pro player Ryan 'FChamp' Ramirez. ComboFiend first started off with a look at Gamora, one of the previously confirmed characters.
The Guardians of the Galaxy hero uses a combination of pistols at long range and a sword in short range. The next match is when things got interesting, though, as ComboFiend surprised the crowd when he showed Jedah, a Darkstalkers character. The fact Jedah is part of the roster is not that surprising, as his name popped up in the leaked roster.
That said, Darkstalkers fans who have been waiting years for something like this were very excited to see him in action. Everyone cheered as the two proceeded to show Jedah's moves.
Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is out September 19 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
