Black Ops Cold War Firebase Z Zombies map breaks cover

The next Zombies map arrives very soon in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

After a week of teasers, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War developer Treyarch finally dropped the first trailer for Firebase Z, the upcoming Zombies map. The new map will be free to all players, and goes live on Thursday, February 4 with the seasonal update.

Firebase Z is set in Vietnam, and the story takes placer after the events of Die Maschine, the launch Zombies map. Grigori Weaver is on hand to provide support, and he's going to be helping the squad save Samantha Maxis. The trailer above offers a first look at gameplay, as well as a few of the new enemies, including what looks to be a major boss.

We also get to see the map's teleportation device, which seemingly sends the squad into an alternate dimension, similar to the portals in Die Maschine.

Alongside Firebase Z, you can also expect more multiplayer content to arrive with the Season One refresh on February 4. As previously confirmed, the map Express will also go live on the same day. Prop Hunt is getting more maps, and a 40-player Endurance mode is also coming.
