Fallout 76’s Wastelanders release delayed by one week

The Wastelanders update for Fallout 76 will be released a week later than planned.

Bethesda announced today the Wastelanders update for Fallout 76 will miss its April 7 release date by one week.

The reason for the delay is because, like many in the country at present, the developers are working remotely. This has, in turn, affected the team’s ability to give the update a final test before it was set to release on April 7.

Wastelanders will now release on April 14.

In addition to introducing fully voiced NPCs to the world of Fallout 76, the update includes a new storyline, locations, enemies, new weapons, a new reputation system and more.

The large, free update was originally slated for a fall release last year.
