Rainbow Six Siege: Shifting Tides arrives today on test servers

Rainbow Six Siege's final operation this year has been officially revealed.

At the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Finals over the weekend, Ubisoft officially unveiled Shifting Tides, the Y4S4 DLC coming to the game soon. Though an official release date wasn't provided, the DLC is going live today on test servers.

Shifting Tides introduces two new operators with unique gadgets, and a rework of the Theme Park map. The attacker, an Indian leader of a PMC called Kali, comes with a sniper rifle capable of breaching un-reinforced barricades and hatches. The rifle can also file an explosive that burrows inside most barriers and destroys gadgets on both sides.

Wamai, a Kenyan defender who's part of the same PMC, has a throwable gadget that attracts enemy grenades and detonates them at its location.

All the new content arrives alongside an update to Rainbow Six Siege that adds limb penetration, and a new toggle to exit rappel. In-game prices for Hibana, Echo, Dokkaebi, Vigil, Zofia, Nomad, and Kaid will also be reduced when the update goes live.
