GTFO gets a spring release target, new gameplay

GTFO, the co-op shooter from ex-Payday developers 10 Chambers, is slowly approaching release.

You may remember GTFO from that impressive trailer at The Game Awards 2017. GTFO is a hardcore, four-player co-op shooter with emphasis on group survival in a horror setting inspired by the original Alien.

The game is being developed by 10 Chambers Collective, a small team made up of former Overkill developers, many of whom worked on Payday, and Payday 2. After a few months of radio silence, the studio today confirmed that GTFO is due out sometime this spring on PC through Steam.

Alongside the announcement, 10 Chambers released a behind-the-scenes video to show off a bit of fresh gameplay, tell the story of the making of the game, and ultimately explore what the team set out to create.

Today's making-of video reveals that GTFO will have an evolving story that 10 Chambers will expand on with every new update. The developer also teased a dynamic dialogue, and music systems that'll change based on what's happening in that moment, and hopefully help make things fresh.

You can watch the full episode below, or head over to Steam to add GTFO to your wishlist.
