GTFO's Infection update adds new levels, new enemies more

An update is coming to GTFO at the end of the month, and it will add additional levels to the action-horror first-person shooter.

Available on March 31 to everyone who owns the Early Access title, the GTFO update includes a new environment laid out over 10 new maps. Some of the expeditions will need to be unlocked.

You will also find new enemies, objectives, and weapons. You can see some of what to expect in the developer playthrough of one of the new levels below.

In the video, you can see the group of four trying to locate TERMINAL_546 without many clues such as waypoints or directions. Finding your way will involve looking for signs on walls and doors, and accessing data hidden in computer terminals.

The four-player co-op game arrived on Steam Early Access in December for $34.99 and puts you in an underground facility called “the Complex”, where your team’s survival relies on your ability to communicate, coordinate, and "count your bullets." If you want an idea of what to expect in the game, give our GTFO preview a read.
