Hunt: Showdown has been released through Steam Early Access

Hunt: Showdown is now available through Steam Early Access.

Crytek announced today Hunt: Showdown has gone into the Early Access phase of development on Steam.

The competitive first-person PvP bounty hunting from Crytek was announced back in June 2014  as Hunt: Horrors of the Gilded Age. The title underwent not only a name change but an entirely different direction under the current development team.

Originally, the game was a four-player co-op action shooter, but now it's a PvP monster hunting game with PvE elements.

The Early Access version of Hunt: Showdown will run you $29.99/€29.99/£25.99.
