BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle announced at EVO 2017, features characters from Persona 4 Arena

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is the next project from Arc System Works.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is a 2D fighting game that looks to have a unique roster. The game includes characters from Persona 4 Arena, BlazBlue, and Under Night In-Birth. It was announced at EVO 2017 championships over the weekend, and is set for release sometime in 2018.

The game also features Ruby Rose, a character from anime series RWBY. RWBY is an American anime produced by Rooster Teeth. Though the addition seems completely out of left field, the show's fans have been calling for her to be in a fighting game a for a while.

The trailer above was released alongside the announcement. It shows off one character from each of the four series, and a brief look at the game's 2v2 tag system. Sadly, there's very little information to go around.

No platforms were announced, but expect BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle to release in 2018.
